Shuffleboard is a fantastic game that focuses on technique and precision. In Shuffleboard, you can challenge your friends to score the most points on the "mini" board.

Typically played one-on-one, but you can easily compete in teams to see who can hit the scoring areas best. In fact, shuffleboard is perfect for social gatherings. The board doesn’t take up much space and can be easily set up and packed away again.

The rules of shuffleboard are simple and can be learned quickly, so even children can join in. To keep track of scores, it might be a good idea to have a scorekeeper.

The board is easy to transport, and the ten pucks come in a small fabric bag, making it easy to take them along without losing any.

You don't need to worry about food or drinks being played on the board. The shuffleboard is made of plastic, so it can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

In short, the game goes like this:

• Divide into teams based on how many want to play
• The first player shoots a puck, then it alternates to the next player
• The aim is to score as many points as possible per round (one round = 5 pucks)
• Points are awarded as follows: 0, 1, 2 and 3 points depending on where the puck lands
• If you shoot too far/askew and the puck goes off the playing area, you score 0 points
• Likewise, you score 0 points if you shoot too short and don’t reach the scoring areas
