PAYMENT

PartyVikings accepts payment via standard credit and debit cards and Apple Pay. We do not charge card fees for private transactions with credit cards, unless the card is issued outside the EU/EEA – in which case, a fee of 2.75% applies. If you use a corporate card (except for Dankort or Visa/Dankort), a transaction fee of 2.55% will be applied (equivalent to the fee PartyVikings is charged, known as the Autofee). For corporate cards issued outside the EU/EEA, a transaction fee of 2.90% will apply.

Your payment will only be deducted from your account once the order has been dispatched.

PartyVikings encrypts all your card details using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. This ensures that no unauthorised persons can read your card number or any other information during the transaction.

 

RESERVATION OF FUNDS

If you pay with an international payment card, the amount will be reserved immediately. The funds will be held on your card or account until:

  1. We charge the amount when we dispatch the goods, or

  2. The funds are released according to your card issuer’s agreement.

DELIVERY

Order before 4:00 PM on weekdays for expected delivery within 2–3 working days. This applies Monday to Friday with GLS. PartyVikings offers you a delivery reliability of over 98% on orders placed before 4:00 PM with GLS delivery. Shipments within Denmark and internationally are handled by GLS, Danske Fragtmænd, DB Schenker, and DPD.

After placing your order, you will receive an email with your order confirmation. Once the order is packed, PartyVikings will send you an invoice via email, followed by another email with a tracking link so you can follow your parcel.

Timely delivery requires the courier to meet the standard delivery timeframe of 2–3 days. Should delays occur on the courier's part, the delivery may also be delayed accordingly. In the case of significant delays (several days) or non-delivery, PartyVikings will naturally send a replacement shipment free of charge. Saturday delivery via GLS is available in Denmark’s 100 largest cities. We recommend contacting your local parcel shop to confirm whether they accept Saturday deliveries from GLS.

 

PARCEL SHOP DELIVERY

When your parcel is delivered, GLS will send both a text message and an email. To collect your parcel, you must bring the parcel number, the recipient's name, and your own photo ID.

 

If someone else is collecting the parcel on your behalf, they must bring their own photo ID, along with the parcel number and the recipient’s name.
Note: If a parcel shop is full (e.g. during busy holiday periods), the parcel may be redirected to a nearby parcel shop. The cost for delivery to a parcel shop is £9. Free delivery is available for orders over £59 when delivered to a parcel shop.

 

BUSINESS DELIVERY

The parcel will be delivered to the reception or to the person GLS contacts upon arrival at the address. If your company has a designated delivery area, the parcel will likely be delivered there.
You will not receive a delivery notification. The parcel is typically placed in the reception unless a different arrangement has been made with GLS at the specific location.

Important: The company name provided during checkout must also be clearly visible at the delivery location. If the company name is incorrect or missing, the parcel will not be delivered, and an extra fee will be charged for redelivery.

The cost for delivery to a business address is £12.

 

HOME DELIVERY

If you choose home delivery, you will receive an email from GLS in the evening around 6:00 PM informing you that your parcel has been scanned at the local GLS depot. In this message, you will also be asked to confirm the following:

 

  • Will you be home to receive the parcel tomorrow?
  • If not, do you give GLS permission to leave the parcel at your address at your own risk?
  • If not, and the parcel must not be left, should GLS instead deliver your parcel to the nearest parcel shop?

 

If your parcel is delayed, GLS will notify you of the new estimated delivery date.
If you choose standard home delivery without additional instructions, you will not receive a notification when the parcel is delivered.

 

It is essential that the courier has access to your address with the delivery vehicle. If access is not possible, delivery cannot be completed. It is your responsibility to ensure there is suitable access.

 

The cost for home delivery is £16.
Free collection is also available from our warehouse in Randbøl, Denmark.

 

COMPLAINTS

If you receive an item that is faulty and/or damaged, please take photos of all four sides of the item, the inner and outer packaging (e.g. bubble wrap, brown paper, cardboard, shipping box, etc.), and the courier’s shipping label. Send these photos to info@partyvikings.co.uk as soon as possible after receiving the item – ideally on the same day.

 

We will then respond to your message and inform you of the next steps in the complaint process.
If sufficient documentation is provided and the complaint is deemed justified, a replacement product will be sent to you. Please retain both the product and all original packaging, and do not use the product until the complaint has been fully processed.

 

Your purchase is covered by the provisions of the UK Consumer Rights Act, which means you have a 24-month right to complain about faults (this applies when purchasing as a private consumer). This means that you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or price reduction depending on the specific circumstances.

 

To be eligible for a complaint, the defect must not be due to misuse or other harmful actions on your part.

 

You must file a complaint within a reasonable time after discovering a fault. If you complain within two months of discovering the issue, your complaint will always be considered timely.

 

For business customers, the complaint period is three months.

 

If your business receives a damaged parcel or pallet from the courier, the damage must be reported to both the courier and PartyVikings on the same day the shipment is received. You should still sign for the delivery, but make a note that the goods are accepted with reservations due to visible damage.

 

All product returns must be arranged by contacting PartyVikings first. We will either arrange for the product to be collected from your address or instruct you to return it to your nearest parcel shop. While not mandatory, providing complete information will speed up the process – such as:

 

  • a copy of your order confirmation
  • bank account number and sort code for refunds
  • any relevant correspondence

 

If the complaint is justified, we will cover your reasonable return shipping costs.
Please ensure the item is returned in proper protective packaging and remember to keep your proof of postage, so we can reimburse your shipping expenses.

EXCHANGE POLICY

In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal under the terms below, PartyVikings offers an extended return period of 100 days. This means that you have 86 days to notify us that you wish to make use of this extended return policy, and a further 14 days to return the item.

You must notify us by sending an email to info@partyvikings.co.uk, using the standard withdrawal form, which can be found at the bottom of these terms. Your message must clearly state that you wish to make use of the extended return period. You cannot cancel your purchase by simply refusing to accept the parcel without informing us in advance.

Once we have received the returned item at our warehouse, we will be happy to exchange your order for another item.

 

STATUTORY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

PartyVikings offers a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal, during which you also have 14 days to return the item from your address.

 

This means you have 14 days from the date of receipt to inform us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You can do so by sending an email to info@partyvikings.co.uk or by using the standard withdrawal form found at the bottom of these terms and conditions.

 

You cannot withdraw from the agreement simply by refusing to accept the package without also notifying us of your intention to cancel.

 

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery charges (except additional costs incurred if you chose a delivery method other than our cheapest standard option). The refund will be made without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the date we received notification of your decision to cancel the contract.

 

The refund will be made using the same payment method as the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned item or you have provided proof of return.

 

If the returned item is diminished in value due to your handling beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and function, a deduction will be made from the refund amount accordingly.

 

If you are purchasing as a business customer on partyvikings.co.uk, no right of withdrawal applies.

 

NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The following purchases cannot be cancelled:

  • Delivery of goods that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

 

RETURNS

You must return your order to us as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You are responsible for covering the direct cost of returning the goods. From the moment the item is delivered, you bear the risk of the product during return shipping.

If your return is missing the original packaging, this may result in a partial refund. If you wish to ensure a full refund, we recommend that the item is returned in the same condition as received, including all original packaging.

 

CONDITION OF THE ITEM WHEN RETURNED

You may cancel your purchase even if the item has been used. An item is considered used if it has been handled beyond what is possible in a physical store. In such cases, we will assess the resale value of the product to another customer. Any reduction in value will be deducted from the refund.

 

The amount refunded will depend on the commercial value of the item. In some cases, this may mean that only delivery costs are refundable.

 

PartyVikings does not accept packages sent cash on delivery, to a private address, or to a parcel shop. You may also return the item by refusing delivery or by delivering the parcel to us in person, by prior agreement.

 

Alternatively, you can cancel your purchase by notifying us clearly and delivering the item personally to the address listed below.

PRIVACY POLICY & COOKIES

o enter into an agreement with PartyVikings, we require the following personal information from you: name, address, phone number, and email address. This information is collected and shared by PartyVikings solely for the purpose of delivering your order. Your IP address is also recorded and will typically only be used in the event of a police investigation.

 

As a general rule, your data is never made accessible to third parties, nor sold or transferred. Your information is securely stored by PartyVikings and is only accessible to trusted personnel. Some of our business partners process personal data on our behalf, but only in accordance with our instructions and never for their own purposes.

 

You have the right at any time to object to the registration of your data and to request access to the personal information we hold about you. To do so, simply contact us at info@partyvikings.co.uk. This is in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
