1. Use an iron on low heat with a damp cloth underneath, and gently iron to smooth out the folds. Avoid using too high heat.
2. Warm the banner with a hairdryer, and then smooth out the banner. You can advantageously place it under some heavy items to flatten the folds. Also avoid too high heat here.
